GRANTS that Sara has shepherded from conceptualizing, budgeting, and writing to successful  funding include a Guggenheim Fellowship and multiple National Endowment for the Arts and Oregon Arts Commission grants, among numerous others. 

WRITING: Sara has contributed to B.L.A.C. (Black-Led Action Coalition) communications and press announcements, Contact Quarterly and Conscious Dancer magazines, the Register-Guard (Oregon), the Vancouver Sun, and scripted a documentary about DanceAbility International. Sara Zolbrod focuses on editing more than writing, but she can provide either type of service. She works with non-fiction, fiction, and technical and business writing, such as promotional materials, website content, and public relations. 

Please be in touch with your project details to discuss rates. For light editing on simple projects that have a strong writing base already, rates can start at 2 cents per word. 

Grant-writing quotes are project-based rather than hourly, but are often equivalent to approximately $25 per hour; Sara works quickly and efficiently.
